GEORGE HENRY - LORETTA FRANCIA - HESTER
Welcome from George and Loretta! We are enthusiastic fruit and veg growers situated just outside Launceston in "sunny" Cornwall. We are kept company by Hester the dog who's main duty is being happy.
Brian, featured above, is our precious, but very old, tractor without whom we would be sunk in the mud - he prevents us pulling our wheelbarrow to excess!
We started our venture with grape vines in 2011 and soon after we planted our perennial crops . We have developed a good reputation for quality Cornish grape juice, asparagus, rhubarb and artichokes. In recent years we have expanded our range by growing a greater variety of vegetables and proudly supply local customers.
We also enjoy working with some wonderful chefs who get creative with our produce.
Finally, we love trying to keep healthy bees and some years they generously produce some extra honey for us to share.
